Partnerships are at the heart of delivering global goals. As such, the sustainable development goals (SDGs) can only be realized with strong global partnerships and cooperation. One important aspect of forming a partnership, the 17th SDG, is that it binds the other goals together in such aspects as finance, capacity building, governance, technology, and trade.
In this context, UNITAR CIFAL Jeju/Jeju International Training Center (JITC) organizes online activity in lieu of its 16th Youth Workshop for Korean and international university students currently living in Korea. Participating students will have an opportunity to access an UNITAR MOOC lecture, linking it with sustainable development policies of their own country, while virtually interacting with others. UNITAR CIFAL Jeju/JITC will also provide a cyber mentoring session that can complement non-face-to-face activity.
This event aims to enhance the understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The workshop consists of four parts, as follows:
Part 1: UNITAR MOOC Online lecture “MOOC Introduction to the 2030 Agenda: A New Agenda for a Sustainable World (9th edition)"
Part 2: Individual Activity
Part 3: Group presentation (via Zoom)
Part 4: Submit group report
